After more than 30 years of feeding cottonseed on our family ranches, we knew firsthand how labor-intensive the process could be. That challenge inspired the creation of the Cottonseed Bale - a simpler, more efficient way to feed.
Founder Clayton Leonard set out to solve that problem and partnered with the Barrett family, longtime experts in the cottonseed market. This idea came to life with Hunter Barrett and his company, Fortified Cottonseed. In March 2024, we produced our first bale in Texas and officially launched the company later that year.
The response was immediate - demand grew quickly, leading to the purchase and renovation of a new production facility near Corpus Christi. Today, Cottonseed Bale continues to expand with a clear focus: providing high-quality, cost-effective, and easy-to-use cottonseed solutions that save time, reduce waste, and keep feed fresh for up to a year.
Whether for large ranches or weekend deer leases, our bales make feeding simpler, cleaner, and more efficient - because solving problems is what started it all.
